The 42PFL5603D is a Full HD 1080p display, while the 32PFL5403D has a 1366 x 768p HD ready panel. Both models come with an integrated HD Tuner and Philips' Pixel Plus HD technology platform ensuring superb details, depth, and clarity. In addition, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and 28.9 billion colour reproduction, the Philips 5000 series displays natural images and rich blacks.
In addition, the Philips 5000 series features Philips' Invisible Sound System speaker technology that projects 30W acoustics without visible speakers and Virtual Dolby Digital for an enhanced home theatre experience. USB connectivity is also included for photo and music playback, and comes with 4 HDMI inputs for connectivity.
