Not to be outdone by Sony and their PS3 Giveaway promotion Panasonic has jumped in early with the announcement that evey consumer who buys a new VIERA Full High Definition Plasma TVover the Xmas period will get an Nintendo Wii gaming console  

Panasonic said that consumers who purchase one of Panasonic's Full High Definition (FHD) 1080p Plasma TVs between 29 November and 24 December, 2008 will receive via redemption a Bonus Wii which includes Wii Sports, valued at $399.95 .
