The company says that the use of external A/V processors is a preferred choice by many videophiles because the use of higher quality components in the A/V processor allows the sound to be reproduced exquisitely.
The Denon DVD-2500BT will play BD-Video, DVD-Video, CDs and Kodak Picture CDs, as well as MP3, WMA, JPEG and DIVX formats stored on disc or on a SD memory card.
The DVD-2500BT features an advanced video UniPhier processing chipset - an all-in-one solution that can decode dual simultaneous HD signals enabling it to output picture-in-picture as well as output dual audio streams.
Other high-end features include Deep Colour compatibility technology, HDMI V1.3a compliance, separate and independent power and video blocks within the chassis that eliminate any signal degradation, and a ‘heavy duty' drive mechanisms that eliminates vibration.
The Denon DVD-2500BT is available in Black, Silver and Premium Silver, comes with infra remote control, is covered by a two year nationwide warranty with an RRP of $2,199.
