The Panasonic KX-TDA IP-PBX telephone system is a powerful tool combining traditional telecommunications with convergent IP technology allowing efficient and flexible communications.

The system has been configured at Schindler with 160 extensions, 60 ISDN lines, voicemail/automated attendant with built-in unified messaging and Call Centre Reporting Software.

"It was clearly time to upgrade," said David Turner, Schindler Lifts Australia's National IT Manager.
"When we moved offices from Waterloo to Botany this necessity became even clearer."

Turner said Schindler investigated phone systems by Mitel, Ericsson and NEC before choosing Panasonic.

He said Panasonic was chosen mostly because of its scalability, flexibility and features.
