Bose is an incredible arrogant Company who will sue at the drop of a hat. In the past they threatened to sue SmartHouse for daring to use the word "lifestyle" in a story.
Now they have taken an axe to their Australian operations after what appeared to be a flight to the warmth of the Gold Coast Vs the practicality of an operation in Sydney.
When Bose threatened to sue SmartHouse 4 years ago we told them to "Get stuffed" and that if they were serious about owning the name lifestyle that they should sue us. We heard no more after this.
Then some weeks later they turned on CEDIA who after spending over $1,000,000 won their patent case against Bose. The judge slammed the US sound company for attempting to use the court system to try and take ownership of the word "Lifestyle".
In a statement to ChannelNews today senior management have refused to answer serious questions about the recent relocation of their head office back to Sydney nor did they want to talk about the demotion of senior management or why the management of Asia has been flicked back to the USA.
One of the victims of the moves is Michael Dimeglio the former managing director of Bose who three years ago was ironically promoted over the head over Andrew Cronin the now General Manager of Bose.
