In my early days to be called a Fleet Street hack was a badge of honour. Today I am an IT hack as well as owner of a media Company. However for some IT journalists it seems to be a description that gets right up their noses if their latest emails to me are anything to go by.
While journalist attendees seem to love the event from the emails I got on the topic there is some doubt among PR practitioners as to the value in the current format and with the current content.
In my opinion and with also with some core industry vendors the issue with the Media Connect Kickstart forum is not about the way the event is run or to a certain degree who attends. It's all about the content and the message.
