Greg Aurisch, 56, of Emu Plains, was a director of Cyber Supercars, which produces racing car simulators used in video game arcades. Police say he got involved in an argument on Sunday with his business partner Darryl Liversidge at the business's showroom near Penrith.
Aurisch allegedly slashed Liversidge's throat before using wires connected to an electrical circuit to kill himself. Liversidge survived and has been released from hospital. Aurisch and Liversidge registered the company in September last year and were the sole directors.
According to News Online, Police would not comment on what sparked the dispute. Mr Liversidge took himself to Nepean Hospital and reported the attempted murder-suicide to police.
Police found Mr Aurisch's body when they entered the showroom at 1.30pm (AEDT) yesterday. An autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death but police confirmed Mr Aurisch's injuries were consistent with electrocution.
