Partnership Appointments

By Branko Miletic | Tuesday | 18/03/2008

Polycom, the world?s leading provider of unified collaborative communications solutions, says it has further demonstrated its commitment to build its partner network through the appointment of two dedicated relationship managers, in a move that some industry analysts have speculated was designed to reinvigorate their local partner program.

New team members Grace Titioka and Mark Braxton join Polycom as Business Development Managers for Strategic Alliance Partners, focusing on Polycom's partnerships with Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft and Nortel. Polycom has also appointed Steven Bennett as Partner Enablement Manager to manage a new locally-based business partner program.
"Having industry professionals like Grace, Mark and Steven working closely with our strategic alliance partners gives Polycom the ability to strengthen our key business partner relationships at a local level", said Michael Chetner, Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand, a statement that seems to underline the company's desire for a fresh approach to local partnerships.
