The company's current managing director, Stephen Langsford, has stepped up from the helm and will but will remain at the company as an executive director responsible for strategy and corporate development.

The former COO, Simon Hodge, will now take over the role as managing director ? Hodge and Langsford co-founded Quickflix in 2003.

A marketing director has also been appointed into the newly-created role. Louise Ardagh will work to drive continued subscriber growth.
