Convergent Technologies (CT) is experienced in the exciting market of home automation and high quality home audio products. Its vision is to provide products that will focus on solutions in the converging markets between audiovisual and IT technologies. It distributes many products with the largest brands being Control 4 and Infinity loudspeakers, which are outstanding brands in their markets. CT's business is in wholesale distribution and therefore it delivers its products to end users through qualified retail outlets exclusively.
The company is now seeking an experienced salesperson that will maximise sales of the company's products within a given independent territory and assist in the achievement of market objectives and account sales targets.
The responsibilities of the role include development of sales within CT's dealer structure as well as growing the company's dealer base. Experience and knowledge in the AV or IT field will be an advantage.
The new position will also entail driving to visit all dealers throughout Melbourne with some travel into Victorian country regions, as well as servicing existing dealers and also plan territory development by contacting and developing new dealers.
To qualify for this role you should have:
- Proven experience with on the road business development
- A good knowledge of computer hardware, with software an advantage
- Demonstrate your ability to work autonomously
