The promotion, which runs for eight weeks, entitles consumers purchasing select LG fridges a free 22-inch (RRP: $799) or 19-inch (RRP: 599) LCD TV. The size of the TV depends on the fridge model purchased.

After purchasing a participating fridge, customers should send their claim forms to the company no later than 15th July 2008. LG promises to send the LG LCD TV Monitor to the customer within 12 weeks of receiving the valid claim form.

Recently Samsung and Sony have come under scrutiny for not providing their free-with-purchase promotional goods within the specified time. Hopefully LG customers will not have to wait longer than the specified time.

"We are pleased to be able to use the popularity of our Side by Side and French Door Fridges to offer an added bonus to our customers so they can experience more from the LG brand."

The company will support the promotion with in-store merchandise and marketing.
